Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 6, 2026
Juliette Custom Homes strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
Our commitment
We want anyone who is thinking about a project to be able to read about our work, understand how we build, and reach us, whatever technology they use to browse. We treat accessibility as part of building the site properly rather than something added at the end.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This site has not been independently audited or certified, so we describe this as the target we build against and continue to work toward, not a claim of full conformance.
What we have built into this site
- A “skip to content” link as the first item on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Semantic page structure: real headings in order, landmark regions, lists that are lists, and buttons and links that are what they say they are.
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Descriptive alternative text on content images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.
- Text and interface colors chosen for contrast against their backgrounds, and text that reflows when you zoom or use a larger default font size.
- Respect for the reduced motion setting in your operating system: animations are turned off when you have asked your device for less motion.
- A phone number that dials directly on a mobile device, and forms with labeled fields and clear error messages.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. We know about these areas in particular:
- Embedded third-party content, such as the Google map on our contact page, is controlled by the provider and its accessibility is outside our control. The same address and directions are always available as plain text next to it.
- Some project photographs are described in general terms. If a photo matters to you and the description is not enough, contact us and we will describe it properly.
- Documents and drawings shared during a project may come from architects, engineers or municipal offices in formats we did not create. Ask us and we will provide the information another way.
If you have trouble using this site
If you are having difficulty with any content, or you need any information on this site in another format, contact us and we will help you directly. Tell us the page you were on and what happened, and we will get you the information and fix the problem.
